Yeah, I may have overdone it slightly..
It didn't take 4 magnets to get the dozer blade to stay on properly. Not even 8.
It took 12 of them.
Granted, the ones in the middle might not be really necessary, but that's a lesson learned for another time.
I'm still waiting for the tracks, and have yet to buy the sponsons and cupola/hatches. I suspect I'll need another 2+2 magnets for the sponsons since they're bound to weigh more than a set of resin doors; and I'm already up to 22 of them!

Anyone for magnets?
Since I couldn't stick to a single project to save my life, I've started on the first Rhino/Predator/Baal. I counted to an estimated 14 magnets on the Predator/Baal setup, with another 2-3 for each additional turret setup. I'm still waiting on a set of Dozer Blades from FW (to magnetize of course) as well as a set of non-GW tracks (which I won't spoil what they are just yet) before gluing it together and start the spraying and painting.

Bottom's up!
Progress!
Since our gaming group is doing our first ever Apocalypse game this saturday, I need to step up my painting a bit and piece together approximately 1000 pts of traitor Astartes. In order to do that I'll need to finish a 5-man devastator squad, 3 raptors/assault marines and 1 librarian dreadnought.
Since I paint first and assemble second, I tend to paint from the bottom to the top with the arms (which will mostly be magnetized) coming last. Thus far I've done the bases and legs for all marines and the torsos being worked on. I'm not entirely certain I'll manage to finish all arms to anything more than basecoat and highlight on the armour bits, so I'll focus on the few arms I do have to glue on and leave the magnet ones with only the basecoat before starting on the dreadnought (which may or may not get more than the armour plates done, possibly some of the gold as well depending on how fast I can work)
My part of our 3vs4, 8k points per side, battle will (hopefully) consist of:
1x Magister Raptorum Gabranth (Astorath)
5x The Atramentar Honorifica (Honour Guard)
- Meltagun
- Thunder hammer
1x Designation "Maelstrom" (Librarian Dreadnought)
- Blitzkrieg & Nightshroud (Wings & Shield)
10x Raptors; First Claw (Assault Marines)
- Meltagun x2
- Power fist
5x Devastators; Eight Claw (Devastators)
- Missile Launcher x2
- Lascannon
This for a total of 970 pts.

We have come for you!
This blog will mainly be dedicated to the slow (and slower) progress of Pavor Nocturnus, my Night Lords 12th company.
The army is modelled and painted in accordance to my vision of the Night Lords during the 31st millenium and onwards. Cold and calculating serial killers, without the classic (and often kinda tacky) skulls, spikes and winged helmets.
I currently have 13 out of about 40 marines almost completed. The jumppacks will be changed from these to these, and I have yet to put some lightning on the armour, but here's how they look right now:
The torsos and helmets are from FW's Red Scorpion upgrade pack, the legs and arms are from normal loyalist marines and the bases are the lava bases from Dark Art Miniatures.
